Quincy Carter to Start at Quarterback
June 2, 2008 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Kansas City Brigade News Release
Quincy Carter will start at quarterback this Sunday in The Brigade's contest against The Arizona Rattlers. This will be Carter's first action at quarterback since joining the team last month.
"D. Bryant has had nine starts and has gained valuable experience during the process. As a staff, we will do everything possible to put Quincy in situations that will allow our offensive unit to be successful on game day," according to Head Coach Kevin Porter.
Carter's start will have an extra challenge as the team has two starting linemen injured. Larrell Johnson and Chris Cook may not be able to play in the game. Coach Porter will closely monitor their progress this week.
