Chicago Sky News Release
CHICAGO - The Chicago Sky has temporarily suspended guard Allie Quigley as she joins the Hungarian National Team to compete in the EuroBasket tournament, which runs from June 11-28 in Hungary. The 2014 WNBA Sixth Woman of the Year, with dual citizenship in the United States and Hungary, is one of a group of WNBA players who will compete in the EuroBasket tournament. The EuroBasket winner earns a berth to the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Quigley appeared in the Sky's first two regular season games, averaging 4.0 points and 3.5 assists per game. The length of Quigley's absence will be dependent on how far Hungary advances in the tournament.
