Little Falls, NJ – The New Jersey Jackals fell twice tonight to Les Capitales de Quebec in a double header. New Jersey suffered their third consecutive loss, while Quebec continues their red-hot season with a record of 10-2.

In game one, the Jackals were in the hole in the first inning as Quebec brought in six runs. The fourth inning errors on behalf of Quebec came as a benefit to the Jackals as they brought in two runs. Tyler Brock contributed to the inning with a single RBI leaving the game at 6-2 with Quebec leading.

Steve Checksfield slammed out a solo homerun in the bottom of the sixth, but Eddie Lantigua answered back in the top of the seventh with his own solo homerun. The final score of game one was 7-5.

Game two started out strong with Ricardo Cordova banging out a two-run homerun, but, again, Lantigua smacked out two more solo homeruns, one in the third inning and one in the fourth. Ricardo Cordova retaliated with a triple and his third RBI of the game. The valiant effort given by the Jackals was no match for Les Capitales. The final score of game two was 10-4, Quebec.
