Rancho Cucamonga Quakes News Release
Rancho Cucamonga, CA- The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes return to the Epicenter for a seven game homestand starting Tuesday, April 22nd against the Bakersfield Blaze. On Friday the Stockton Ports will be in Rancho to start a four-game series that concludes on Monday.
Tuesday is "Taco Tuesday" presented by Poco Loco and KOLA 99.9. Gates open at 6:05 PM with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 PM. Fans can enjoy $1.00 Poco Loco tacos all game long in the right field café.
Wednesday is "Wienie Wednesday" presented by Hebrew National and KFRG 95.1. Gates open at 6:05 PM with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 PM. Hebrew National hot dogs will be just one dollar!
"Thirsty Thursday" presented by Slumpbuster Energy Drink and KCAL 96.7 returns with a 7:05 PM start on April 24th. Gates will open at 6:05 PM. 12 ounce domestic draft beers and fountain sodas will be just one dollar through the fifth inning. Big Mark's Sportszone and Pizzeria located in the right field café will also offer 50 cent wings all night.
Friday's game against the Stockton Ports with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 PM., will feature a T-Shirt Giveaway presented by Charter Communications to the first 1,500 fans to pass through the gates. Gates open at 6:05 PM.
Saturday's game is at 7:05 PM and will feature POST-GAME FIREWORKS! It is also Korean-American Night, which will feature Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 2006 1st Round Selection Hyun Choi "Hank" Conger. Conger, expected to be the Quakes opening day catcher has not yet appeared with the team due to injury, but is scheduled to be in attendance. He was the first ever Korean-American born baseball player drafted. Gates open at 6:05 PM.
Sunday's game with the Ports is at 2:05 PM., with gates opening at 1:05 PM., and features a Lee Smith Appearance & Signing presented by Big Mark's BBQ and Pizza Zone. Smith, who played parts of two seasons with the Angels, ended his career in 1998 and retired as the all-time saves leader in Major League Baseball history. "Kids Sundays" are presented by Nestle and Radio Disney 1290. After the game, all kids 12 and under can RUN THE BASES!
Monday wraps up the series with Stockton and is "Monday Madness" presented by KSPA AM 1510. This is a special offer where one can get two club seats, two hot dogs, two sodas, and two bags of chips for just $18! Gates open at 6:05 PM, with first pitch at 7:05 PM.
