
Quad City Storm Signs First Player in Franchise History

Former Quad City Mallard Vladimir Nikiforov returns to the area with the new Quad City Storm.
Nikiforov began his career in 2004 and most recently led the Watertown Wolves to a championship last season and played in AHL with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Nikiforov had 35 goals, 61 assists for 96 points in 114 CHL games and produced 51 goals and 102 assists for 153 points in 255 ECHL games. Local fans will remember his time with the Quad City Mallards in the 2015-2016 season.
Head Coach Dave Pszenyczny said, "Vlady is a Gritty winger who likes to get into the dirty areas and he has a scoring touch." "The rest of the Quad City Storm team will be announced in the coming weeks," he added.
