Quad City Steamwheelers Re-Sign Defensive Lineman Teon Burroughs

Quad City Steamwheelers News Release
The Quad City Steamwheelers, defending Champions of the IFL's Eastern Conference, have re-signed defensive lineman/linebacker Teon Burroughs.
"Very smart and athletic young man. He can play multiple positions for us so it will be nice to see what he can do in his second season with us." said Steamwheelers Head Coach Cory Ross.
Last season, Burroughs notched 28 total tackles (17 solo), 3 sacks and a forced fumble.
Director of Player Personnel Ryan Michael told SteamwheelersFootball.com "Teon was a player who continued to show strength and growth as the 2022 season progressed. He notched 15 tackles in his last 5 games alone. I'm excited about what he's going to bring to camp as we prepare for 2023."
With this signing, the Steamwheelers add another defensive veteran with experience playing in Coach Ross' system.
