The new standards are why we are excited about the upcoming 2005-2006 season. Higher standards should mean higher accomplishments and expectations.

-Are there any you would like to have seen added, but were not?

No.

-How do you view the ABA vs. other minor league basketball (CBA, NBDL, etc.)?

The ABA has a better business plan that allows for a wider range of talent and business operations across the board. The other leagues have some wonderful business points, but the new standards of the ABA should make it more appealing and fan friendly.

-Have you secured a venue for the upcoming season?

The agreement is in place with Los Angeles Southwest College. The facility is a wonderful venue with amenities added for past relationships with the Lakers and Clippers and local basketball events. This arena should provide a great home for exciting game events with the Los Angeles Aftershock.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
