Stallions schedule second tryout camp
June 9, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
San Antonio Stallions News Release
San Antonio, TX. Kevin Sanderson, owner of the ABA San Antonio Stallions professional basketball team, today announced that the team has scheduled a second tryout for Sunday, July 17th at the Alamo Convention Center in San Antonio.
"The first tryout camp was fabulous," said Sanderson. "Coach Taylor and his assistants put 31 people through a series of drills, workouts and games that gave everyone there a chance to show their skills - and the talent level was great. We had 20 players with college experience and 11 without - and we saw some surprisingly good talent in both groups. This next tryout camp should be tremendous also."
For more information, call 210 448 0310 or email info@sastallions.com. The cost will be $135 by July 1st, $150 after July 1st for pre-registered players - and $175 for walkups. Space will be limited. Coach Taylor added, "We're putting together a very good team; our emphasis, at least my coaching style, is strong defensive play to complement the offense. If you are skilled defensively, you'll fit." For more information, visit www.abalive.com.
