Stallions host 3 on 3 Food Drive Basketball Tournament

San Antonio Stallions News Release
San Antonio, TX. Kevin Sanderson, owner of the ABA San Antonio Stallions professional basketball team that begins play in November today announced that the team will sponsor a 3 on 3 Food Drive Basketball Tournament on Sunday, May 1st from 930-2PM at the Copernicus Community Center, 5003 Lord Road, San Antonio, Texas. Also included will be a Slam Dunk Contest and Awards Ceremony. 2005 Mayoral Candidate and City Councilman Julian Castro along with Joaquin Castro, State Representative of District 125 in San Antonio are helping to produce this event and are pleased to welcome the ABA back to San Antonio after so many years. Sanderson stated, "And we are pleased to be here in San Antonio, a city with a great ABA tradition. Who can forget the Iceman, George Gervin? Our goal is to become deeply involved in the community and this is only the first of many activities we have planned."
