
RimRockers hold camp, stamp out smoking

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., April 22- Head Coach Joe Harge will host a basketball clinic on April 30 to support the 2005 Stamp Out Smoking campaign. Registration for the clinic begins at 8:00 a.m. and the activities run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Advantage Communications Incorporated (ACI) will hold SOS clinic at the UALR Donaghey Student Union for girls and boys ages 10-13. The cost of the clinic is free.
Participants in the clinic will have the opportunity to learn basketball skills from the Coach of the Year, Joe Harge, have lunch, entertainment and receive information regarding the dangers of tobacco.
"I look forward to working with ACI and volunteering to coach the Stamp Out Smoking basketball clinic," Harge said. "It is important for today's children to not only understand the dangers of tobacco, but its harmful effects."
The Arkansas RimRockers, of Little Rock, are owned by Larry Crain Sr. and play all home games at Alltel Arena. The RimRockers season runs from November to April 8. Playoffs immediately follow. For Ticket information, contact the RimRockers' office by calling 501-975-HOOP.
