Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (Wednesday, October 14, 2015) -- The Fort Lauderdale Strikers today announced a partnership with Publix Super Markets that includes the grocer serving as title sponsor of "Strikers Fútbol Live" game telecasts on SFL-TV. The agreement also features sponsorship of Strikers Youth Clinics through the end of 2016. Strikers CEO Sean Guerin made the announcement.

The television portion of the agreement covers all home and away game broadcasts for the remainder of this year through the conclusion of the 2016 North American Soccer League season.

Publix and the Strikers plan to conduct at least 50 youth soccer clinics in South Florida, led by certified soccer coaches. Each clinic will include participation by a Strikers player and the club mascot, HotShot.

"This is a special partnership given Publix's iconic presence in this region and its reputation of community service," said Guerin. "We're thrilled that Publix is helping us continue to bring every home and away match on TV locally for fans that can't make it to games. We're equally thrilled to team up with Publix and expand our youth clinics, which have always been a staple of our outreach."

"We are proud to partner with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers and look forward to supporting the youth clinics in our local communities throughout the soccer season," said Publix Media and Community Relations Manager Nicole Krauss.
