Dayton, OH - The Port Huron Prowlers travelled to Dayton for a Sunday afternoon match up at Hara Arena that produced a hat trick for the Prowlers in a 6-5 win.

It all began at the 1:27 mark, with Leveille's first score assisted by Ahmed Mahfouz and Justin Alonzo. Port Huron held onto their 1-0 lead for most of the 1st period, until Cody Milligan commended the teddy bears to the ice. Dayton's first Power Play lighting was at the 19:42 mark, with some assistance from the captain Brian Marks. Milligan scored his seventh goal to tie things up for the first intermission break.

In the 2nd frame, Port Huron scored twice to give themselves some room against Dayton. Chris Leveille wrangled out his second goal at the 6:09 mark, with more Mahfouz and Alonzo magic. The Prowlers scored one more at the 16:40 bookmark, with Dustin Skinner's first finisher of the night. Skinner's Power Play blast was provided from Mahfouz and Alonzo once again, and the Prowlers enjoyed a 3-1 lead after two.

In the 3rd period, Dayton had the fire in their eyes against Andy DiCristofaro. Mike Henderson (4th goal of the year) buried a near-side pass from Jesse Felten and Brett Wall to slash the deficit down to one at the 3:22 clip. Shortly after, Derrick Schwartz scored his first of two on the contest with Tom Tracy and Michael Dolman providing back-up on the Demolition's second Power Play goal of the night. However, Port Huron wasn't finished.

The Prowlers went back on top 4-3 at 7:27 of the 3rd with a Jack Callahan goal, presented by Mark Rivera. Not long after said Prowlers tally, it was former Port Huron defenceman Jide Idowu recording his first score from Felten and Wall to tie things up. With a short time expired from Idowu's goal, it was Dustin Skinner from Leveille and Alonzo to put the visitors up 5-4 for about two minutes.

At the 11:04 point of the 3rd, Derrick Schwartz finishes the rebound redirecting and records his sixth score of the year. Cody Milligan and Michael Dolman help out with the last Demolition score. As time wound down closer to the OT horn, Chris Leveille used his patience to beat Louie George and the Dayton crew 6-5 at the 18:57 mark. Leveille's hat trick finale was assisted by Ryan Devine and Dustin Skinner.

Dayton outshot Port Huron 45-38, falling to 3-4-3 when the Demolition outshoots their opponent. Dayton went 3-for-7 on the Power Play; Port Huron 1-for-4. Louie George took the hard-fought loss with a 32 save performance. DeCristofaro recorded 40 saves tonight to improve to 2-0 vs. Dayton on the year.
