GENEVA, IL - With Valentine's Day less than two weeks away, the Kane County Cougars are introducing a special deal that contains the element of love-struck surprise, along with a pair of tickets and merchandise in time for February 14.
Starting today and continuing through next Thursday, February 11 at 5 p.m. CDT, the Cougars are offering some prime real estate on the Cougars' online home: www.kccougars.com. For $40, fans can script a personalized message for their sweetheart that will run on the Cougars' website throughout Valentine's Day weekend. While the message can contain no more than 70 characters and must be approved by Cougars staff for clean content, the message will be displayed online throughout the weekend, making a perfect surprise gift for sweeties, children or family members.
In addition to the personalized online message, recipients also receive a pair of box seat ticket vouchers, good for any 2010 game based on availability. A pair of Cougars ballcaps (his and hers, naturally) round out the Valentine's Day gift pack.
Fans can complete their Valentine's Day order and write their message at www.kccougars.com. *** The Cougars have also introduced Fantasy Baseball Draft Parties, to be held on two dates this April on Elfstrom Stadium's Upper Deck level.
Leagues of eight or more people can reserve a private suite to host their spring draft, while enjoying an all-you-can eat buffet and an open bar that includes domestic beer and Pepsi products. In between picks, attendees can dig into buffalo wings, all-beef hot dogs with all the fixin's and chips and salsa.
