OMAHA, NE - The Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest - a free celebration of baseball visiting more than 50 minor league ballparks across the country - will make its sixth annual stop at Rosenblatt Stadium on Friday, July 24th. Created and produced by Entertainment & Sports International (ESI), the event will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. just outside the stadium gates. It will be followed by the Royals taking on the Round Rock Express at 7:05 p.m.

The 4,000-square foot area will feature over 20 baseball-themed attractions, including:

- A minor league museum showcasing over 100 years of baseball history

- A state-of-the-art Best Buy Mobile Video Game Arcade sponsored by Great Clips with the latest baseball and family games

- Free souvenir personalized baseball cards sponsored by Days Inn

- Free Sports Illustrated Kids personalized magazine covers

- A midway with batting and pitching cages, giant slides, bounce houses and bungee runs

- A special "Rookie Zone" for young funs

"The minor leagues offer fans a great baseball experience," said Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan, who returns as a

national spokesman for the event. "From exceptional value to a safe, family environment, fans get to see competitive professional baseball with non-stop entertainment. The Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest extends that excitement before the game with an event truly unique to minor league ballparks."
