(NASHUA, N.H., May 28, 2008) Nashua Pride designated hitter, Dennis Abreu, lead the way offensively, going 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles, including a bases clearing three-run two-bagger in the bottom of the fifth inning that broke the game open for the Pride.

Starting pitcher Hideki Nagasaka notched his first win of the season, going six innings, allowing four runs, on eight hits, while walking two. Nagasaka allowed three of the four runs on home runs. Tornadoes' catcher Alex Trezza led-off the second inning with his third homer of the season and third baseman Mike MacMillan hit a two-run shot, his first of the year, in the sixth inning.

Worcester starter Shaun McNamara lasted just three and one-third innings, giving up seven runs, on nine hits, while walking three and striking-out three. The Tornadoes' bullpen sent four pitchers to the mound after McNamara, combining to allow five runs, on seven hits, in four and two-thirds innings of work.

The Pride earned their second win of the season and will open-up a four game home series against the Brockton Rox at Historic Holman Stadium beginning on Thursday night at 7:05pm. Lance Stevens is scheduled to get the start for the Pride. Wayne Lundgren is set to start for the Rox.
