
Pride set to begin 12-game homestand

(Nashua, NH) - The Nashua Pride will be returning home tomorrow night to begin a twelve-game homestand at Historic Holman Stadium, the second longest scheduled for the 2004 season. The Pennsylvania Road Warriors, Bridgeport Bluefish and Newark Bears will each visit the Gate City during that stretch, with Pennsylvania coming to town twice.
The series against the Newark Bears on June 6 - 8 will mark the 2004 return of future Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson to Nashua. Henderson last played at Historic Holman Stadium in the 2003 Atlantic League All-Star Game, earning Most Valuable Player honors less than a week before joining the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The upcoming homestand, which extends from Friday, May 28th to Tuesday, June 8th, will feature the following special promotional events:
Friday, May 28th - Pride Baseball Card Giveaway, presented by Sovereign
Bank - first 1,000 fans receive a set of 2004 Nashua Pride Baseball Cards
Saturday, May 29th - Post-Game Fireworks
Sunday, May 30th - Hispanic Pride and Nashua Dodgers Turn Back The Clock
Day - Pride players will be wearing special "throwback" uniforms which will
be auctioned off during the game
Tuesday, June 1st - Donut Day
Thursday, June 3rd - Pride Baseball Bat Giveaway, presented by Pepsi -
first 500 fans ages 16 and under receive a complimentary 26-inch baseball

Friday, June 4th - Pride Beach Towel Giveaway - first 500 fans receive a
complimentary Pride beach towel
Saturday, June 5th - Pride Baseball Giveaway, presented by US Cellular -
first 500 fans 16 and under receive a complimentary baseball
Tuesday, June 8th - Best Friend's Day - any fan who buys one ticket on the
day of the game gets an additional ticket at no charge
