Sarnia, Ont. - The Saginaw Spirit hit the road for the first time in the 2022-2023 season as they play the Sarnia Sting at Progressive Auto Sales Arena in Sarnia, Ontario on Friday night.

The Spirit played their last game at home against the Niagara IceDogs on October 2nd, taking a 7-2 loss to the Niagara IceDogs. Theo Hill and Vegas Golden Knights prospect Matyas Sapovaliv scored for the Spirit.

Sarnia played their last game in Windsor where they won 2-1 in overtime against the Windsor Spitfires. Ty Voit scored the overtime goal just 19 seconds in to the extra period. Voit has scored the game-winning goal in each of the Sting's two victories this season.
