Frisco, TX - After contuning to dominate at home the fighters head on the road for a tough Week 6 match up against a division rival the Tulsa Oilers. T
he Fighters are led by head coach Andre Coles who looks to make a championship run in his first season as a head coach.
PAST MEETUPS - FIGHTERS V OILERS
This will be the fourth time the Fighters and Oilers face off with the last meet-up ending in a comeback Fighters win [31-25]. The Oilers have had a bounce back year with a record of 2-1 and come off a huge win on the road against Sioux Falls Storm.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
A player to watch this week and most weeks is Indoor Footballs Most Valuable Player TJ Edwards. Edwards comes off yet another huge game on the ground and the air, rushing for 72 yards and passing for 125 yards with 6 total touchdowns.
Another player to watch this week is Lionell McConnell. McConnell leads the league in interceptions having three in three games. He also has been a stand out special teams player having a return touchdown last game against the Duke City Gladiators. Look for him to continue his defensive and special teams presence this week.
Lastly, another player to watch is Linebacker, Royce See. See has been a key piece to our defensive core as he lead the team in tackles last game and has continued to put pressure on the other teams Quarterbacks.
