Frisco, TX - The Fighters head into the postseason with a record of 13-2 and have clinched home-field advantage for the first and second rounds of playoffs. This week they face off against #4 seed, Quad City Steamwheelers.
The Fighters are led by interim head coach Andre Coles, who looks to lead his team into the postseason.

PAST MEETUPS - FIGHTERS V STEAMWHEELERS
This will be the third time the Fighters and Steamwheelers face off as the last meet-up was in the Conference Final last year which ended in a Fighters Loss [48-41]. The Steamwheelers have had a tough season with a record of 9-6. Their losses were to the Arizona Rattlers [53-60], Sioux Falls Storm [47-59], Massachusetts Pirates [49-63], Green Bay Blizzard [38-45], the Iowa Barnstormers [41-80], and the Tulsa Oilers [35-56].
PLAYERS TO WATCH
A player to watch this week is linebacker, BJ Taufalele. Taufalele has played a key role on the defense having two sacks, and over 16 solo tackles this season. He looks to add to those numbers in the game this week.
Another player to watch this week is wide receiver/return man, Charles Headen. Headen has been an exceptional return man with six return touchdowns this season as well as some receiving touchdowns as well. He looks to continue production on this next game!
Lastly, another player to watch is defensive back, Derrick Jones. Jones has played a key role to our defense lately coming off a game with four tackles and a couple of assists he looks to continue his role into the postseason!
