Preview: Eastern Conference Quarter-Final Game Three

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats (2-0) and Swift Current Broncos (0-2) shift to Swift Current for game three of their Eastern Conference Quarter-Final series at the Credit Union Iplex (7 p.m.) tonight. The Pats used their early home ice advantage to full effect over the weekend by taking a 2-0 series lead with 4-2 and 3-2 victories. Adam Brooks scored the lone goal of the third period to lift the Blue and White to the game two win. Pavel Padakin and Braden Christoffer lead the Pats with three points each while Coda Gordon leads Swift Current with three assists in the series. Tune in to tonight's game on 620 CKRM starting at 6:35 p.m. or watch on Shaw/Access7 starting shortly before puck drop at 7 p.m.

Daniel Wapple has been an early difference maker for the Pats. The Saskatoon, SK native stopped 64/68 shots for a 0.941 save percentage in the series so far. The wins were the first two of Wapple's WHL playoff career.

Zborovskiy Making His Mark

Russian defender Sergey Zborovskiy had a very solid WHL rookie season totaling 19 points (3G, 16A) along with a +15 plus/minus rating. Despite being held pointless, Zborovskiy is tied for third in the WHL with a +5 rating and hasn't been on the ice for a goal against.
