The Kelowna Rockets will take on the Spokane Chiefs on Tuesday night at 7:05 at Prospera Place before heading out on a two-game road trip to Victoria this weekend.
It will be a Fan First Menu night at Prospera, which means $2 hot dogs and $5 beer from Lucky Lager.
The Rockets will be looking to bounce back from their 7-3 loss to the Kamloops Blazers on Saturday at Prospera Place. After falling behind 1-0 on a breakaway goal from Kai Matthew, Andrew Cristall and Caden Price score to give the Rockets a one-goal lead heading into the first intermission. In the second frame, the Blazers found the back of the net to retake the lead, before Luke Schelter scored in the third to make it a one-goal game. Kamloops then scored three unanswered goals in a span of 3:30 to pad their lead. Goaltender Jari Kykkanen made 34 saves on 40 shots.
The Chiefs hit the road for a pair of games over the weekend, dropping the Tri-City Americans 5-1 on Friday before falling 7-6 to the Everett Silvertips in a shootout loss on Saturday.
Spokane has three players on the NHL Central Scouting Mid-Season rankings, with former WHL first-overall pick Berkly Catton clocking in at number nine on the list and defenceman Will McIsaac at 98. Goaltender Cooper Michaluk is ranked fifth among North American goaltenders.
Over the weekend the Vancouver Giants, who added Connor Levis among others at the deadline, won both of their games to tie the Rockets for sixth in the Western Conference with 51 points. The conference standings as of Monday afternoon can be found further down in this post.

THE LAST TIME THESE TWO MET
The Spokane Chiefs outgunned the Kelowna Rockets 8-5 in a high-scoring affair on February 4 at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena.
The Rockets held a 2-0 lead by the midway point of the first period before the Chiefs quickly responded with a pair of their own goals, Iginla then scored his second of the night to give Kelowna a 3-2 lead heading into the first intermission.
Spokane then scored a pair of goals to retake the lead but Gojsic's second of the game pulled Kelowna back within one. The Chiefs then added another pair before Gojsic completed the hat trick.
Thirteen seconds into the third Roulette added the insurance goal before Streek cashed in the final goal of the game.
Seventeen-year-old rookie Hiroki Gojsic was named the third star after posting his first career WHL hat trick. The winger is ranked 94th on NHL Central Scouting's Mid-Season rankings.

The Kelowna Rockets online 50/50 is back for the 2023-24 season!
The online 50/50 will give fans in Rockets fans located in British Columbia and those who are attending the game the chance to win during every Rockets home game this season. The 50/50 will also raise important dollars for the Kelowna Minor Hockey Association.
Tickets will be available for purchase on all game days starting at 9 a.m. PT and end at the start of the third period on the same day.
LINEUP SHEET + GAME DAY PROGRAM
Printed lineup sheets will not be available at games this season, they can be accessed online by visiting the game day program.
The Game Day Program will be available in the same spot, it comes complete with game notes, stats, team rosters and entry forms for the Rockets intermission contests.
The sheet and program will be uploaded by 3:00 p.m. on game days
