Atletico Ottawa News Release

Atlético Ottawa completes its two-week road trip away from the nation's capital with a short turnaround from their match in Hamilton, facing Pacific FC on Friday (KO 9:30pm ET, live on OneSoccer).

Here's everything you need to know before Friday's match in Victoria.

Atlético Ottawa currently sits in seventh place in the Canadian Premier League as much-improved performances and exciting encounters have yet to be converted into results.

Ottawa remains with striker Malcolm Shaw and defender Luke Singh who are on international duty with Trinidad and Tobago at the 2023 Gold Cup.

Both players made their international debuts last week-end.

Goals from Maxim Tissot, Gianni dos Santos and Gabriel Antinoro weren't enough for González's side last weekend, as Atleti slipped to a 4-3 defeat against Forge FC in Hamilton.

Antinoro's strike after 22 seconds is the second-fastest goal in CPL history and the 19-year-old's first professional goal.

Atlético confirmed this week the signing of Spanish midfield veteran Alberto Zapater and Swiss striker Rubén del Campo.

Both players will be eligible to play after the transfer window opens on July 5, 2023.

High-flying Pacific FC currently sits top of the Canadian Premier League table with 24 points from 11 games, having won four of its last five encounters.

Head Coach James Merriman's side has both the best defence (9 goals conceded) and best attack (21 goals scored) this season (7W-3D-1L).

This is the second meeting between the two sides, with Paicifc emerging victorious at TD Place earlier in the campaign.

Record head-to-head (all time): 3W-3D-5L; 11 goals scored, 15 goals conceded
