Series: Tonight's contest will be the first time the Bees and Skeeters meet. At 6-5, the Skeeters lead the Freedom Division by one game. The Bees enter play at 4-6, third in the Liberty Division.

The Bees: Ten games into the 2016 season, the Bees' pitching staff is proving itself to be one of the best in the league. Bees' pitchers have posted a collective 2.53 ERA, good for second in the league to Somerset (2.45). The team has also allowed just two home runs in 92.2 innings.
The Opposition: Outfielder Jeff Dominguez enters play tonight tied for the league lead in RBIs (10) and is tied for second in home runs with three. He is also off to a .351 start on the year, which is good for 11th in the league.

Key to the Game - The Batter's Eye: The Bees' are third in the league in walks by hitters with 43, with James Skelton accounting for eight. However, the Bees offense has struck out 93 times in 10 games, including 13 from Jon Griffin. New Britain's offense needs to focus on working the count and swinging at good pitches from Sugar Land's staff this series.
