New Britain Bees News Release

In 140 Characters or Less: The Bees return to the hive tonight for the first of three vs. the Bridgeport Bluefish! First pitch 6:35 PM!

Series: The first ever series between the Bees and Bluefish was cut short by a game due to rain, so the Bluefish took two of three from the Bees in Bridgeport.

Bees Tickets: Available at the New Britain Stadium Box Office | Call 860-826-BEES

The Bees: New Britain (8-12) just completed its first extended road trip of the season, finishing the six-game trip through Pennsylvania with a 2-4 record (1-2 vs. Lancaster, 1-2 vs. York).

The Opposition: The Bluefish (7-13) snapped an eight-game losing streak in Sugar Land this week, taking the final two games of the three-game series there.

Starters

New Britain- LHP Josh Outman (0-2, 3.62) | Bridgeport- RHP R.J. Hively (0-2, 6.19)

Key to the Game- Return to form: The Bees' normally reliable bullpen experienced its worst stretch of the season during the road trip, losing two games in the final inning. A return to lockdown form would surely be a welcome sign for manager Stan Cliburn.
