The Bees: Infielder Steve Carrillo has had a sizzling start to the Bees' eight-game road trip. The California native has picked up at least two hits in each of the first three games of the trip, including three in last night's game. He's hitting .538 (7-13) in the opening stages of the trip, and over the past ten games is hitting .333 to lift his season average 31 points (.234 to .265).
The Opposition: Caleb Gindl has enjoyed much success against Bees' pitchers this season, picking up at least one hit in all eight games he has played in against them. The outfielder is 11-31 (.355) with five runs scored and three RBIs against New Britain while also posting the highest on-base percentage on the team vs. the Bees (.444).
Starters
New Britain- RHP Shawn Haviland (2-1, 3.43) | Lancaster-RHP Tanner Peters (2-2, 4.63)
Key to the Game - Win the series:With just one week to go until the end of the first half, the Bees sit just 4.5 games in back of Somerset for first in the Liberty Division. Every game is crucial for the Bees as they try to chase down the Patriots for a playoff spot, and starting that chase by winning three of four on the road against Lancaster before heading to Somerset would definitely provide a big boost to that cause.

Bees Buzz: The Bees have managed to pick up at least seven hits in 30 consecutive games...With a scoreless inning last night, left-hander Anthony Marzi has made five straight appearances without giving up a run (eight innings pitched, five strikeouts during that stretch)...Three different Bees carry hitting streaks of at least four games into today's game (Jon Griffin and Jonathan Roof five games, Jon Jones four games)...
