Series: Lancaster took the opener of the series last night 6-4 in ten innings, with the Barnstormers scoring three in the top of the tenth. The Bees trail the Barnstormers 3-1 in the season series so far.

The Bees: With his 1-3 night last night, Jonathan Roof extended his hitting streak to five games. Roof now has three separate hitting streaks this season of at least five games (two streaks of seven games, and his current streak). His .312 average his ninth in the Atlantic League.
The Opposition: Shortstop Kevin Ahrens was a very tough out last night, going 4-5 with an RBI and a run scored. He also had one of the Barnstormers' four stolen bases last night. The shortstop is hitting .429 (6-14) in four games vs. the Bees this season.

Key to the Game- New Kid on the Block: Since being acquired from Lancaster last week, Michael Crouse has been on a tear. The outfielder is hitting .600 (6-10) in three games with New Britain with a triple, home run, three RBIs and three runs scored, playing a key role in keeping the Bees in games so far in his Bees' career.

Bees Buzz: Josh Outman- tonight's starting pitcher- is coming off his best start of the season, tossing seven innings while allowing two runs and striking out six against Southern Maryland...Brandon Fry has provided the Bees with valuable innings out of the bullpen this season, working multiple innings in four of his seven appearances to prevent the burnout of the bullpen...The Bees have played their share of bonus baseball this season, owning a record of 2-2 in extra-inning games this season...
