
Presson Named Mallards\' President

Quad City Mallards News Release
Chris Presson has joined the Quad City Mallards as President of the organization effective July 21, it was announced today by Mallards CEO Bill Davidson.
Presson most recently was General Manager during the construction and opening of the new INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas while also simultaneously overseeing the closing of another arena in Wichita.
Prior to moving into arena management, Presson spent 15 years in the Central Hockey League as a general manager, team president and consultant for four different organizations. He twice was honored as CHL Executive of the Year.
"I worked with Chris from 1998 to 2000 with the Topeka Scarecrows," said Davidson. "He brings a tremendous level of expertise to the Mallards front office as we move into the CHL."

The Mallards' will play their first ever CHL home game on Saturday night, October 16 at 7:00 p.m. The Central League has affiliated with the International Hockey League under the banner of the CHL.
