Preseason Party Presented by Raley's and Bel Air Scheduled for March 9

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Round Table Pizza Ticket Office at Raley Field will open for the season on Sunday, March 9, and the River Cats are celebrating with a preseason party presented by Raley's and Bel Air, featuring free food, a live band, two photo booths, free clubhouse tours, balloon artists for children, and an on-field batting practice for charity.

The festivities will kick-off at noon and will last until 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 9. The party will mark the first time this season that Raley Field's Round Table Pizza Ticket Office will open to the public for single-game ticket purchases.

At the party - which is free and open to the public - fans will get an all-access, inside look at Raley Field in advance of this season's Opening Night, scheduled for Friday, April 11. Free clubhouse tours will be available throughout the event, and will include photo opportunities in the clubhouse and a special stop at the On Deck Shop, where fans can catch an early glimpse of this season's River Cats gear. A live band will also be on hand to entertain Cats fans of all ages, and fans will have the opportunity to "Swing for the Community" by taking five swings on the field with a $20 donation to the River Cats Foundation.

There will be plenty of entertainment for young River Cats fans as well. In addition to an appearance by the River Cats' beloved mascot Dinger, balloon artists will have a station set up, and the mobile gaming trailer We Got Gamez will be on hand as well. The Coca-Cola Kids Corner will be open - including Raley Field's popular bounce houses - and there will be two photo booths on site.

Round Table Pizza will hand out free samples, while Ovations - Raley Field's Concessionaire - will supply free hot dogs and soda. Raley's will provide food samples of different items throughout the concourse area. Radio Disney will set up adjacent to the Kids Corner, and Supercuts will be on hand as well.

While March 9 is the first day that the ticket office will be open, single-game tickets officially go on sale with an online presale, which runs from 10 a.m. on Monday, March 3, until 10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4. Online sales for single-game tickets open to the general public at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, at ticketmaster.com.
