Preseason game at Quad City cancelled

Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs preseason exhibition contest against the Quad City Mallards, scheduled for tonight at 7:00 p.m. at the MARK of the Quad Cities has been cancelled. There is no make up for the exhibition and the two teams will begin the regular season portion of the schedule on Friday, October 15 at the Rockford MetroCentre, beginning at 7:05 p.m.

The IceHogs and Mallards matched-up on Saturday at the MARK in a preseason tilt in which the IceHogs were victorious 6-3, and the Mallards faced-off with the Missouri River Otters on Monday in another exhibition game.
