Famous Dave's to sponsor IceHogs Hog Heaven

Rockford, Ill.- Rockford IceHogs General Manager Ryan Washatka announced Tuesday, that Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que will be the official sponsor and caterer of the IceHogs exclusive Hog Heaven VIP Area. Fans that reserve the area have the option of picking from three catering packages courtesy of Famous Dave's.

The Famous Dave's Hog Heaven VIP Area is located behind the south goal in the Rockford MetroCentre and groups of 50-150 can reserve the area for an IceHogs game. Groups of 100-150 will have exclusive use of the VIP area for their game.

Famous Dave's Hog Heaven VIP Area packages start at just $27. Groups that reserve the area will receive seats against the glass, a dinner package from Famous Dave's, a group welcome over the public address, group name on the arena scoreboard and group raffle tickets for IceHogs merchandise.

Catering options include the Piglet Package ($27) which includes Georgia Chopped Pork, Texas Beef Brisket or Pulled BBQ Chicken sandwiches, two sides, buns and soft drinks; the Lil Pig Package ($30) includes St. Louis Style Spare Ribs, Roasted or BBQ Chicken, two sides, corn bread muffin and soft drinks; and The Big Pig Package ($33) includes choice of two of the previous meats listed, two sides, desserts or garden salad and soft drinks. All prices include tickets to the game.

Next Game: The Rockford IceHogs begin the 2004-05 regular season on Friday, October 15 at 7:05 p.m. when the Hogs battle their rival Quad City Mallards. The first 4,000 fans to the game will receive a Rally Towel courtesy of Bud Light. For tickets call (815) 968-5222.
