
Pregame Party and Great Christmas Tree Giveaway Tonight; 3 Assigned to Indy

Rockford, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs announced today they have assigned forward Bryn Chyzyk and defensemen Jonathan Carlsson and Nick Mattson to their ECHL affiliate, the Indy Fuel.
All three players were recalled, along with forward Evan Mosey, from Indy on Monday.
Carlsson, 28, played his first game for the IceHogs this season on Wednesday. The Uppsala, Sweden native has also skated in 18 games for the Fuel this season, posting one goal and seven assists for eight points.
Chyzyk, 24, has played in two games for the IceHogs, including his pro debut on Oct. 15 in Cleveland. He has notched a +1 plus/minus rating, and returns to Indy where he has a pair of assists in nine games for the Fuel.
Mattson, 25, has recorded seven assists and 10 PIM in 18 games for the Fuel in 2016-17. The defenseman split time between Indy and Rockford last season, collecting seven points (1g-6a) and a +4 plus/minus rating in 17 games for the Hogs.
Next Home Game: Friday, Dec. 2 vs. Chicago Wolves at 7 p.m. The IceHogs host the Chicago Wolves for the second time this season. The contest marks the fourth matchup of the in-state rivals in 2016-17. The Illinois Lottery Cup rival currently leads the series 2-1 going into Friday's match up. Fans age 21 and up are invited to attend the Blues Flame Friday Pregame Party at Blue Flame lounge. Those attending can enjoy free appetizers and happy hour specials.
