Coyotes Assign Peters to Tucson

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have assigned goalie Justin Peters to the Tucson Roadrunners, the club's American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

The 30-year-old Peters has played in three games with the Coyotes and posted a 0-1-0 record with a 3.16 goals against average (GAA) and a .900 save percentage (SV%). Peters stopped 38 shots in his lone game with Tucson this season.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound native of Blyth, Ontario was originally drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in the second round (38th overall) in the 2004 Entry Draft.
