Predators To Face Rival Storm in Pre-Season Action
February 18, 2008 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Orlando Predators News Release
Orlando - The Orlando Predators will travel to Tampa Bay on Thursday for a controlled scrimmage that starts at 7 p.m. at the St. Pete Times Forum. It is the second full contact workout against another team for the Predators since training camp began.
The coaching staff likes the pre-season workouts, using them as an extra tool to analyze the talent in camp.
"These workouts give us a good chance to evaluate our players against opponents," said Preds assistant head coach Les Moss. "It's a good measuring stick to see where we are as a team."
This is also a preview to April 26th's War on I-4 in Orlando. The Predators currently lead the series 22-19.
Orlando Roster Moves:
The Orlando Predators have signed QB Andy Hall. The 6'2" 215 pound signal caller played collegiate ball at Delaware.
The team released OL Justin Cleveland, WR Steve Bergeski, DL Matt McLothlin, DB Kevin Timothee and DL Quinton Staton.
The Orlando Predators open their season on the road against Philadelphia March 1st and will host Utah for our home opener on March 14th.
