Storm to host Predators

TAMPA - The five-time world champion Tampa Bay Storm will scrimmage inter-state rival Orlando Predators Thursday, February 21 at 7 p.m. on Bill Currie Ford Field at the St. Pete Times Forum, announced General Manager and Head Coach Tim Marcum.

In what is a preview for the Week 9 match-up of the War on I-4, Marcum and Predator Head Coach Jay Gruden will get a final look at their players in live action before they must trim down their rosters. Final rosters must be turned into the League office by 3 p.m. on Monday, February 25.

The teams will run through various drills before they face off on the field for a controlled scrimmage. The scrimmage is open to the media and public. The following gates will be open at 6 p.m. for fans to enter: XO VIP, Box Office, Chrysler Jeep Club and Gate B. Gate B is located next the McDonalds Box Office on the plaza.

Prior to the start of the scrimmage fans interested in season tickets can participate in a select your seat program. The team will also host an enter-to-win where fans will have the chance to win a luxury suite for the March 7 home opener. For more information on tickets or the enter-to-win fans can visit an information booth located at section 101. Additionally, current season ticket holders can visit premium services at any time to pick up their season ticket holder gift.

The 2008 Storm Season, presented by Champs Sports, Where Sport Lives, will open March 7 with against the defending Southern Division Champion Georgia Force on Bill Currie Ford Field at the St. Pete Times Forum at 7:30 p.m. For tickets call 813.301.6600 or visit www.tampabaystorm.com.
