Predators Recall Ellis, Mueller

Milwaukee, WI - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Chris Mueller and defenseman Ryan Ellis, under emergency conditions, from Milwaukee (AHL). In addition, the Admirals have signed forward Paul Crowder to a professional try-out contract (PTO).

Mueller logged 9:01 in Tuesday's win over Colorado; he's now posted three points (2g-1a) in seven games with the Predators this season. In 55 games with Milwaukee, he has 36 points (18g-18a).

Ellis has six points (2g-4a) in 31 games with the Predators this season, in addition to posting 10 points (4g-6a) in 24 games in Milwaukee.

Crowder recently finished his season with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL and led the team with 62 points on 23 goals and 39 assists. The Victoria, BC native played for Admirals assistant coach Stan Drulia with the Nailers for parts of two seasons. In addition, Crowder has skated in a pair of games with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins this year.

The Admirals return to the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Friday night for a 7:00 pm face-off against the Rockford IceHogs. The first 5,000 fans will get a Fighting Jeremy Smith Bobblehead, courtesy of Potawatomi Bingo Casino.
