This Friday and Saturday, the Aberdeen Wings will travel to Topeka, Kansas to take on the Roadrunners in 2014-2015 NAHL Pre-Season action.
The Aberdeen Wings are currently in Training Camp where the coaching staff and scouting staff is evaluating players trying to find the best matches for line pairings and special teams. The Aberdeen Wings are coming off their best year since the team started four seasons ago. The Wings return three of their top 10 scorers from last season including #16 Kyle Haak (F-Okemos, MI) who scored 14 goals and 27 assists, #17 Colin O'Neill (F-Odenton, MD) who scored 19 points, and #21 Bjorn Sigurdarson (F-Reykjavik, Iceland) who scored 13 goals and 25 assists and also represented his home country at the 2014 IIHF World Junior Championships. Returning blue-liners include #3 Daniel Billett (D-Highlands Ranch, CO) who had 13 points and #10 Tanner Okeson (D-Roseau, MN) who had 14 points.
