Game Notes:

67's make HUGE moves to start off 2013

The 67's made the first big splash before the January 10th trade deadline . The 67's traded Minnesota Wild draft pick Tyler Graovac to the Belleville Bulls for winger Sergey Kuptsov, 2 draft choices and a conditional draft pick. The draft picks are a 2nd rounder in 2014, a 3rd rounder in 2015 and a conditional 7th round pick in 2014. Graovac had a career year with the 67's breaking out with a career high 35 points in 30 games . This was followed by the biggest move the 67's have made in recent memory; the 67's sent Senators' 1st round draft pick Cody Ceci, rugged winger Steven Janes and a 3rd round pick in 2015 to Owen Sound for Colorado 6th rounder Joseph Blandisi and 8th overall 2012 OHL draft pick Jacob Middleton. Middleton also represented Canada at the World Under 17's with Dante Salituro. The 67's also traded forward Remy Giftopoulos to the Windsor Spitfires for a 4th round pick in 2015 and a 7th round pick in in 2013. Lastly, the 67's acquired Mark Petaccio from the Greyhounds in exchange for a 9th round pick.

Divison rivals made a deal that sees Plymouth Whaler Alex Aleardi head to Windsor for Zach Lorentz. The most noteworthy deal outside the 67's front office saw Kitchener and Sudbury swap 6 players and a slew of draft picks.
