Game Notes

Oh, Canada!

Congratulations to Sean Monahan and Tyler Graovac on being invited Team Canada's World Junior Hockey training camp. Monahan is a projected top 5 pick in this years NHL entry draft and Graovac (Minnesota, 2011) is enjoying a breakout year. Monahan and Graovac will both try earn a spot on Canada's roster that looks to improve on a bronze medal performance last year. Belleville Bulls goalie Malcom Subban also earned an invite to camp as well. The tournament starts on Boxing Day with Canada taking on Germany.

Roll Up Your Sleeves

Wednesday's game will be presented by Canadian Blood Services. The Ottawa 67's have partnered with Canadian Blood Services' Partners For Life program and are committed to saving lives through blood donations. We've got it in us to work together and try to reach 200 units of blood to help contribute to Canada's blood supply. If you've ever thought about giving blood or perhaps are already a donor, please register to join our blood donor team so that you're donations are tracked toward our team total. You will be included in communications and prizing exclusive to our 67's Blood Donor Team.

Newest 67's

Wednesday will mark the home debut of several 67's. Alex Morgan, Brendan Bell and Doug Harvey will all take the ice at Scotiabank Place for the first time as Ottawa 67's on Wednesday night. Morgan and Bell were acquired in trades with Sault Ste. Marie and Barrie. Harvey is a free agent signing who had previously played for Mississauga and most recently played Junior A for Kanata.

Toque Can Play At This Game

This Friday, December 14th is our Minor Hockey Toque Night! It will be our biggest crowd since opening night and should offer an electric atmosphere with a building filled with minor hockey teams! We will be giving away 67's toques to the first 2000 minor hockey players wearing jerseys/apparel. (12 and under).
