April 3, 2011 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Bloomington PrairieThunder News Release

The Bloomington PrairieThunder are down two games to none in the, best-of-five, Turner Conference Quarterfinals following a 3-1 loss to the Fort Wayne Komets on Sunday afternoon at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. It was a hard hitting, tight defensive contest for two periods before the Komets would score two third period goals for the victory. Just as happened on Saturday night, the Komets powerplay was the story of the game. In Sunday's game, Fort Wayne was 2 for 3 on the powerplay while Bloomington was 0 for 5. In the two games this weekend, Fort Wayne went 5 for 11 on the powerplay while the PrairieThunder was only 1 for 12.

Travis Granbois scored the lone PrairieThunder goal to tie the game at one in the second period. Mathieu Curadeau would score the game winner for the second night in a row, his third of the series, at the :54 second mark of the third period. Leo Thomas and Dan Lapointe got the other twine denters for Fort Wayne.
