PrairieThunder announces website launch

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - As the Bloomington PrairieThunder's inaugural hockey season continues to near, the front office staff is excited to announce another checkmark has been added to the pre-season to-do list. The official team website, www.prairiethunderhockey.com, launched on Thursday morning and is now available to the public.
The website, which has been under construction for the past two months, features a number of useful tools for PrairieThunder fans, curious web surfers and interested ticket buyers alike. On the home page web users will find direct links to the most-searched for items on the site, including: upcoming game information with a direct link to the 2006-07 schedule, headline and recent news about the team, a listing of upcoming events, a link to season ticket information, photo galleries, current league standings and links to find any and all information about the Bloomington PrairieThunder!
On the left side of the homepage at www.prairiethunderhockey.com a number of menu options exist to allow web users to search for the information they need. In the "Team" section of the site fans will find an updated team roster, coach information, team standings, a link to the schedule and the history of how the team came into existence.
The "News" section of the site provides links to press releases, an upcoming events list with event details and a link to games notes which will be updated before every game. In the "Tickets" section of the site web users can find information about every kind of ticket available for PrairieThunder games, including season tickets, club seat tickets, single game tickets, group packages and birthday packages.
In the "Coliseum" section of the website, web users can find information regarding the hockey facilities, the Coliseum itself, parking information, directions to the venue, a list of Frequently Asked Questions and information about the team Front Office staff. The "Sponsorship" section advertising and corporate sponsor information is available, while the "Community" link provides access donation request forms and upcoming events.
The "Fan Zone" link provides a variety of useful information to PrairieThunder hockey fans, including a Hockey 101, player appearance dates, a list of opposing team venue ticket information, Kids Club, Gameday and Mascot information, as well as a link to the photo gallery and PrairieThunder store which are both coming soon! In the Fan Zone web users can also sign up to receive a weekly PrairieThunder hockey newsletter, which will provide an inside look at upcoming events.
The "Contact Us" link wraps up the main menu options and has contact and job opportunity information. Fans should be sure to check back to the website often, as it will be updated daily during the PrairieThunder's inaugural 2006-07 season!
