
Powers Named NWL's Pitcher of the Night

THUNDER BAY, Ontario - Waterloo Bucks starting pitcher Jake Powers (Missouri State) earned the honor of Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night for Saturday, June 23.
Powers went the complete game, going all seven innings and giving up no runs. He only allowed four hits and walked nobody while striking out four batters. The Bucks won the game 7-0 over the Border Cats. Powers is now 2-1 on the season with a 4.50 ERA.
The Bucks have Sunday off and start a three game series against the Duluth Huskies on Monday. Gates will open at 5:30 pm and first pitch is set for 6:35 pm. Remember to check out waterloobucks.com for all your latest Bucks information.
