Syracuse Mets News Release

The Syracuse Chiefs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, and the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees were postponed on Friday at Alliance Bank Stadium due to the power outage that impacted Syracuse's North Side. The game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader at Alliance Bank Stadium on Sunday, August 12. Meanwhile, Friday night's scheduled postgame fireworks display has been moved to Saturday, July 21. Donate Life Night, however, has not been given a new date.

Fans who received tickets for Friday's game through the Donate Life America organization can redeem their ticket at the Chiefs ticket office for a ticket of equal or lesser value for any remaining Chiefs home game in the 2012 season. Donate Life America is an organization dedicated to educating the public about organ, eye, and tissue donation.

Other fans who purchased tickets for Friday's game can redeem their ticket at the Chiefs ticket office for a ticket of equal or lesser value for any Chiefs home game within one year from the date of the postponement. Season ticket holders and suite holders should refer to the back of their tickets for the season ticket and suite policy. For complete details, including season ticket information, please see the complete Rainout Policy.

The Chiefs and Yankees will continue their series at Alliance Bank Stadium on Saturday night at 7:00. Tanner Roark is slated to start for Syracuse against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's Ramon Ortiz.
