Charleston, WV (February 12, 2013) - The West Virginia Power are pleased to announce the addition of Nate Michel to their staff. Michel, originally from Canton, OH, will be the Director of Food and Beverage for the team. He brings seven years of industry experience with him, most recently as the Food and Beverage Director for the Akron Areos.
"I am excited to join the West Virginia Power and work with the great staff that General Manager, Tim Mueller, has in place," stated Michel. "The bar has been set petty high but I gladly accept the challenge and am fully prepared to exceed expectations."
Michel began his career in baseball as a suite server for the Cleveland Indians followed by an internship with the Akron Aeros, the AA affiliate for the Cleveland Indians. At the end of the 2009 season he was promoted to Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, a position he held for two years before being promoted to the Director of Food and Beverage. Michel is a graduate of Kent State University and holds a Sports Administration Degree with a minor in Business.
"We are pleased to welcome a new member to our team and I don't think we could have done any better in finding Nate. He has hit the ground running and is going to be a great asset to our organization," stated General Manger Tim Mueller.
