Potomac Nationals News Release

Despite a loss in a series sweeping opportunity Thursday night, the Potomac Nationals (21-17) head to Frederick with four wins in their past five games. They start a four game series with their Northern Division rival Keys (18-22) Friday evening.

Potomac will send RHP Wirkin Estevez (0-2, 3.94) to the mound, still in search of his first victory. Last time out, the righty went five shutout frames in a no-decision in Winston-Salem. Opposite Estevez, Frederick will toss RHP Lucas Long (1-2, 3.95) to the hill. Long allowed five earned runs on 10 hits in his last start, but went eight shutout frames in his start prior to that.

First pitch of the series opener at Harry Grove Stadium is set for 7:00pm in Frederick, MD
