On Wednesday, the New York Liberty (2-7) defeated the Indiana Fever (3-9), 87-74, in the second game of their 2022 three-game season series.

At Barclays Center, the Liberty finished on 45.2% (28-62) shooting from the field, 33.3% (11-33) from three, and 83.3% (20-24) at the free throw line.

Tonight, the Liberty drilled a season-high 11 three-pointers and tied a season-high 23 points in the first quarter.

Up Next: The New York Liberty will head to the Nation's Capital to take on the Washington Mystics on Friday, June 3 at 7 p.m. ET.

Q1: New York opened the game on an 11-0 run through the 6:33 mark of the period.

Q2: The Fever opened the second quarter on a 10-0 run through the 7:49 mark. Indiana went into the half on a 15-5 run from the 2:51 mark of the second through the end of the quarter.

PLAYER NOTABLES

Four Liberty players scored in double figures in tonight's game (Ionescu, Allen, Howard, Dolson).

Highlighted by her 12-point third quarter, Sabrina Ionescu powered the Liberty offense with a game-high 23 points on 54.5% (6-11) shooting from the floor, including 42.9% (3-7) from deep. She also added seven rebounds, two assists, and a block.

Rebecca Allen totaled 17 points on 50% (6-12) shooting from the field, five rebounds, and three assists.

Natasha Howard finished with 16 points on 60% (6-10) shooting from the floor, including 40% (2-5) from deep, seven rebounds, and two blocks.

Stefanie Dolson added 16 points on 62.5% (5-8) shooting from the field, including an efficient 66.7% (2-3) from beyond the three-point arc and a perfect 100% (4-4) from the charity stripe. She also added a season-high eight rebounds, a team-high seven assists and three blocks.

For Indiana, Kelsey Mitchell and Victoria Vivians finished with 17 points and 14 points, respectively.
