TEAM NOTABLES
The New York Liberty (10-10) dropped their final game of the season series to the Indiana Fever (3-16), 69-82.
New York led by as many as many as seven in the contest, but a 21-point second quarter, followed by a 38-point second half proved to be the difference for Indiana.
In a contest that saw five lead changes and three ties, New York finished with 18 team assists, 38 rebounds, nine of which were offensive, and three steals.
The Liberty tallied 30 points in the paint, converted on nine fast break points, and capitalized on 15 points off the Fever's turnovers.
New York finished on 39.4% (26-66) shooting from the field, 26.1% (6-23) from three, and 84.6% (11-13) at the free throw line.

PLAYER NOTABLES
Four Liberty players scored in double figures in tonight's game (Laney, Shook, Whitcomb, Gray). New York is now 8-4 when four or more players reach double digit scoring.
Liberty leading scorer and 2021 All-Star, Betnijah Laney, totaled 23 points on 38.1% (8-21) from the field, a team-high four assists and team-high eight rebounds. Tonight, Betnijah scored in double figures for the 19th time through her first 20 games in Seafoam, 12 of which she posted 20 points or more. She is currently the only player in the league averaging 19.0+ points and 5.0+ assists per game.
As the second-leading scorer tonight, Kylee Shook scored 13 points, made a team-high three three-pointers on 3-for-4 shooting from beyond the arc and added four assists. Tonight, Kylee set career-highs in scoring, made three-pointers and assists.
Sami Whitcomb, who was named a 2021 WNBA MTN DEW 3-Point Contest participant today, scored 10 points on 36.3% (4-11) shooting from the field; her 13th double-figure scoring game this season. Whitcomb also finished with five rebounds.
Reshanda Gray posted her third consecutive game of double-digit scoring since re-signing with New York, finishing with 10 points on 60.0% (3-5) shooting and five rebounds.
Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana in scoring with 20 points on 44.4% (8-18) shooting and a team-high five assists.
