
Ports Introduce Family-Friendly "Grub Club" in 2016

STOCKTON, Calif. - Starting in 2016, the Ports are excited to offer the new and affordable "Grub Club" package at Banner Island Ballpark to fans 12 and under during Sunday-Wednesday home games.
Fans may purchase their "Grub Club" cards at the Stockton Ports Box Office the day of game for $10 and will be able to redeem their items throughout the day (excluding Tuesday, May 3rd and Monday, July 4th). With a value of $15, families will be able to save $5 per child, adding to the already family-friendly environment at Banner Island Ballpark.
Thru the first inning, children can start the day with a hot dog and Fruit Shoot at the Jackson Rancheria Back Porch and can check back there during the third inning to receive popcorn. In the fifth inning, participants may head to the SJC Foster and Adoption Kids' Zone for their chance to go down the giant inflatable slide, then can cool off in the seventh inning with a visit to the Back Porch for an ice cream sugar cone.
"We hope this new program will offer local families a fun and affordable option for Sunday thru Wednesday games in 2016," said General Manager Bryan Meadows. "We understand the difficulty in finding great local options for kids 12 and under but believe this should be one of the better options in Stockton."
Opening Night is April 7th vs. the Modesto Nuts. Season tickets, group tickets, and mini-plans are currently on sale. Fans may purchase individual tickets at by contacting the Ports front office, at stocktonports.com, or by visiting the Box Office Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
