Ports Announce 2016 Player Interaction Days

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Ports are excited to announce the eight player interaction days that will be held at Banner Island Ballpark during the upcoming season.
The announcement comes as the fifth and final wave of the 2016 promotional schedule release.
On Sunday, April 10th prior to the game, fans will be invited to take photos with Stockton Ports players on the field. Anchor Fund Weekend will be held on Saturday, May 21st and Sunday, May 22nd, and will consist of pre-game player autograph booths and a community raffle, with all proceeds benefiting the Stockton Ports Anchor Fund. On Wednesday, June 1st, Silver Slugger members will enjoy an exclusive meet and greet with Ports players prior to the game in the Premier Staffing Club, while Subway Kids' Club members will have their meet and greet on Sunday, June 5th. Sunday, July 31st will be the Ports' annual Root Beer Float Day, presented by Amy L. Scriven, DDS., when select Ports players will prepare floats to raise funds for the Stockton Ports Anchor Fund. On Monday, September 5th, the Ports will host their Fan Appreciation Day, complete with player autograph sessions and giveaway raffles.
The Ports will welcome Mark Mulder, the A's 1998 first-round draft pick, to Banner Island Ballpark on Sunday, May 1st. Mulder made his Major League debut in 2000 with Oakland where the left-handed starter pitched from 2000-2004 before playing four seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals. The lefty represented the Athletics at the 2003 and 2004 All-Star Games and led the American League in wins during the 2001 season.
