
Portland Fire Acquire the No. 17 Overall Pick in WNBA Draft

Portland, OR - The Portland Fire announced the team has acquired the 17th overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft from the Chicago Sky in exchange for the 21st overall pick.
As part of the deal, the Fire has agreed to not select any players from the Sky's unprotected player list in the upcoming WNBA expansion draft.
The WNBA Expansion Draft Special 2026 Presented by State Street Investment Management SPY will take place on Friday, April 3 on ESPN at 12:30 p.m. PT.
