
New York Liberty Announce 2026 Coaching Staff Hires

NEW YORK - The New York Liberty have finalized their coaching staff for the 2026 season, the team announced today. Led by four-time NBA Champion Chris DeMarco, the Liberty's coaching staff features a group of experienced, innovative, and player developmentfocused leaders whose backgrounds span the WNBA, NBA, G League, FIBA, and international leagues, aligned with the organization's commitment to excellence and innovation.
Joining DeMarco on the bench are assistant coaches Courtney Paris, Addi Walters, and Will Sheehey, along with Andrew Wade, assistant coach and director of player development, and Kristen Mann, player development coach.

"Each coach brings a high level of compete, a teamfirst mentality, a passion for teaching the game, and unique experiences that will help us adapt our gameplan night to night, while also reflecting our commitment to building and strengthening the coaching pipeline. Courtney Paris joins New York after a 10year WNBA playing career where she was a two-time Peak Performer (Rebounding) and a 2018 WNBA Champion with the Seattle Storm. Paris most recently served as an assistant coach with the Chicago Sky, following previous coaching stops with the Dallas Wings and the University of Oklahoma.
Addi Walters brings experience across the professional and international levels, including five seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves organization, and time as a member of Chris DeMarco's staff with the Bahamas Men's National Team. Most recently, Walters served as an assistant coach with the NBA G League's Iowa Wolves.
Will Sheehey adds coaching and analytical experience spanning the NBA, G League, and international levels, most recently serving as an assistant coach and head of player development for Denmark's Bakken Bears following multiple seasons with the Golden State Warriors as the assistant director of player development and innovation.
Andrew Wade returns to New York's coaching staff in an elevated role as assistant coach and director of player development, after serving on the Washington Mystics' 2019 WNBA Championship staff, working as the Liberty's director of player development in 2025, and most recently, leading Laces BC in Unrivaled to a third-place finish as a head coach.
Kristen Mann rounds out the Liberty's coaching additions, bringing nearly two decades of professional playing experience across the WNBA and top international leagues. She most recently served as manager of basketball development for the Connecticut Sun following her final professional season with Tango Bourges Basket, where she helped capture the 2023-24 French Cup Championship.
The New York Liberty Basketball Operations department recently announced two internal promotions, elevating Micaela Reese to Director of Basketball Operations and Parker Lovett to Director of Basketball Strategy.
Additionally, Liberty legend Epiphanny Prince has transitioned into a full time Director role within the Basketball Operations department, where she will support collegiate, international, and professional scouting while also contributing to broader Basketball Operations initiatives.
The Liberty begin their historic 30th season at Barclays Center with a preseason contest against the Indiana Fever on Saturday, April 25, followed by the team's home opener on Friday, May 8 vs. the Connecticut Sun.
